Description

Harbour View is in a beautiful coastal location. Being directly on the front it offers the most wonderful views over the river, harbour and coastal headlands in the renown Exmoor village of Lynmouth. A large covered balcony at the front of the apartment also offers brilliant views out over Lynmouth Bay and towards the Welsh coast. Newly refurbished for 2017 this first floor apartment is spacious, light and airy and provides extremely attractive and high quality accommodation. The tasteful contemporary décor and furnishings provide every comfort you will need and is a great holiday base no matter what the season. Situated on the coastal edge of The Exmoor National Park, Lynmouth and its twin village Lynton, joined by the famous cliffside Furnicular railway, offer great facilities including a choice of pubs, restaurants, cafes and individual shops as well as a cinema, tennis courts and bowling greens. Harbour View has a very spacious and comfortable open plan living area with two French windows leading out onto a full length canopied balcony offering river, sea and countryside views. The pristine kitchen is well equipped and a large dining area provides ample space for meals with family and friends. The large balcony provides a perfect place for breakfast, informal dining and enjoying a glass of wine whilst taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Two attractive bedrooms are on the same floor, a master bedroom with ensuite and comfortable seating and a further twin room with a smart TV.  A family bathroom completes the accommodation and makes this flexible for couples or families.

You may wish to abandon the car whilst staying at this wonderful apartment and enjoy what this picturesque coastal setting has to offer. Surrounded by spectacular countryside which is home to a huge variety of flora and fauna (including the Exmoor red deer) and a choice of coastal and countryside footpaths all of which can be explored directly from the village.  In addition exploring by car gives you access to many beauty spots including the Doone Valley, Tarr Steps and The Valley of the Rocks and for a complete change of scene the surfing beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe are within forty minutes’ drive.  Perfect as a base for exploring the stunning landscapes of North Devon, Harbour View will undoubtedly become a firm favourite and it will be difficult to leave.

Accommodation: Stairs to First Floor: Open plan living/dining room with 40” Smart TV with freeview, Bluetooth sound system, large dining table and doors to balcony. Kitchen area with electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom 1 with King and ensuite shower room, WC and basin and smart TV. Bedroom 2 with Twin and Smart TV. Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and basin. 

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Electric boiler Central Heating, Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. Regret no pets. Travel cot and Highchair available. Balcony furniture. A parking permit is provided for a car park within 200yds ONLY between Good Friday and 1st November(please provide car registration number on booking.) . Unrestricted roadside parking is available outside of these dates and short term daytime parking on the harbour side during the season. Short breaks available November – March only. 3pm Arrival. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
