Located in one of the most popular areas of the picturesque coastal village of Lynmouth, Number 17 offers wonderful views of the East Lyn River as it cascades down to Lynmouth harbour and flows into the sea. Just a short stroll along the river brings you to the amenities of the village including individual shops, welcoming cafes and restaurants and the famous water powered Cliff Railway that takes you up to the twin village of Lynton with its further amenities.  This delightful property has been recently refurbished to a high standard with quality furnishings throughout and presented in an attractive, contemporary country style whilst keeping much of the original character. Number 17 offers a very comfortable base for holidays with family or friends and is ideal for walkers with coast, country and riverside walks available directly from the property including the spectacular riverside walk up to National Trust Watersmeet.  The front porch leads directly into the cosy living room with a corner suite and armchair surrounding an open fire, ideal for the cooler seasons.  At the rear of the property a well equipped stylish kitchen has all you will need for dining in and a rear door leads out into courtyard with facilities for alfresco dining and access to a utility area.  The bedrooms are on both the first and second floors.  On the first floor a very spacious double bedroom overlooks the river and has ensuite facilities.  A further attractive twin bedded room is also on this floor with a spacious shower room adjacent includes a large walk in shower. On the second floor a single room has sloping ceiling and views of the surrounding woodlands. Surrounded by the magnificent splendour of Exmoor with its deeply cut wooded valleys, fast flowing rivers and wonderful fauna and flora including Red Exmoor Deer visitors can explore this wonderful landscape by foot, on horseback, by car or on an Exmoor Safari. This lovely cottage offers everything you would need closeby should you decide not to use the car, however for those who wish to venture further afield, picturesque sandy coves, pretty villages and historic market towns are in abundance and the beautiful beaches of the Golden Coast including Woolacombe, Putsborough and Croyde are all within a 40 minute drive.

No17 is a beautifully appointed and exceptionally well equipped property. Centrally positioned for all amenities and having wonderful river views. Our party consisted of 4 adults, a 2 year old and 2 dogs and we were all very comfortable in No17
