Description

Hillcrest is an 18th Century character cottage located in the delightful village of North Molton on the edge of the Exmoor National Park.  Renovated to a very good standard with attractive and very comfortable furnishings, the cottage provides an ideal holiday home from which to explore this wonderful part of Devon.  Conveniently situated in the centre of the village with Post Office/General Stores and choice of pubs serving good food all close by.  The entrance hall with quarry tiled floor has useful space for coats, boots etc. and leads into an attractive and cosy living room with multi-fuel stove in original stone fireplace. A spacious kitchen/dining is great for meals with family or friends and there is a further fully fitted utility room with Butler sink. Three attractive bedrooms and a family bathroom can be found on the first floor and a further wc is available in a rear courtyard. Steps lead up to a fully enclosed, south facing, private garden with patio and lawn, ideal for relaxing and children's play. Set in superb walking and riding country with miles of trails and stunning picnic spots, although just 3 miles from the town centre amenities of South Molton with its historic pannier market, quaint shops and tea rooms and a choice of fine sandy beaches a further 30 minute drive.
