Reviews

Cottage is lovely and clean, the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch!

Mrs Y,

We had a fabulous week at The Smithy. The cottage has been completed to a high standard and had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The location is fabulous for exploring the beautiful North Devon Coast and is only a 10 minute walk to the SW Coast Path. Dominic and Rosie were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations of places to visit and eat.

Mr B,

We were very impressed with this beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean, characterful and perfectly located for coastal and woodland walks. Trentishoe is a picturesque hamlet. The accommodation comes with use of lovely garden’s space ideal for eating and drinking outside. The owners keep a low profile but are very friendly and helpful and on hand when you need them. We would like to stay again in the future. Highly recommended.

Mrs P,

The location was nice and quiet. A short walk away from the coast path with stunning sunset views and could also see across to Wales on a clear day. The cottage was lovely with everything we needed.

miss S,

The Smithy in Trentishoe was perfectly located with stunning walks on cliff tops to Martin Coombe or Lynton and Lynmouth and easier strolls to Heddon's Mouth right on your doorstep. The cottage was superbly clean, wonderfully equipped and beautifully warm. Each morning we had breakfast at the outdoor table basking in the sun. Then for the evening we went to the slightly higher garden which also had seating, perfect for a glass of wine as the sun goes down. I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Steve
