Beautifully presented throughout, the cottage is at the gable end of a row of 3 properties and has been thoughtfully designed to retain some of the original character including low ceilings (6'6"). The front entrance leads directly into a good size open plan living/dining room with a steep open tread staircase to the first floor. A well-equipped kitchen area has all you will need for cosy meals around the dining table or in the sheltered private garden area adjoining. On the first floor an attractive bedroom has lovely country views and an adjacent bathroom. Close to the picturesque Heddon Valley and just a short walk to the famous National Trust Hunters Inn which offers local dining and an outside pizza oven. Lovely country and coastal walks are easily accessible including a walk to the picturesque smugglers cove at Heddons Mouth. Trentishoe is only a 15 minute scenic drive from the famous twin Exmoor villages of Lynton and Lynmouth and the sand, rock and shingle cove of Combe Martin famous for its smugglers tales and historic silver mines. There are opportunities for riding and fishing in the area and Landrover Safaris will show you the beauty of the flora and fauna in this small National Park. Reviews

A very nicely appointed property in a quiet rural location. It was spotlessly clean .Good quality equipment . Nice touch was the welcome products and fresh flowers.

Mrs G,

The Stable was just perfect for us. It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful location. The little seating area outside was carefully planted with sweet smelling plants throughout the year. Rosie and Dominic were most thoughtful hosts; unobtrusive but always very friendly and available if necessary. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Mrs C,

The cottage was exceptionally clean, newly fitted out and there was plenty of space for the 2 of us. It was also nice and warm during this very wet and chilly May! The location was great for walking, the South West coast path is easily reached from the door , as are other walks. The village of Trentishoe is tiny and very tucked away in a deep valley, perfect for peace and quiet and nature. Rosie and Dominic were very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. We had a lovely week.

Mrs D,

Our stay here was idyllic! The cottage was perfectly clean, comfy, and the special touches like the flowers, note from Dominic and Rosie, and biscuits made it that much more special! We will definitely be back again! Thanks to Dominic and Rosie for being such lovely and friendly hosts.

H M,

Wonderful, quiet location, and the owners have thought of everything. The cottage was immaculate, and comfortable. There is magical walking for all fitness levels (!) from the front door.

Mrs D,

We had a wonderful stay, the Stable was perfect and we found everything we needed in the kitchen including foil and tuppaware, which was very useful for packing sandwiches for walks. The internet and tv were great especially for the remote location. Loved the stylish living space in a stunning location with fantastic walks. We will be back, hopefully with friends in the summer!
