Reviews

Spinnaker is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Absolutely everything you would need from a holiday home, and the outlook from the balcony is stunning.

Mrs W,

Lovely light apartment overlooking the estuary. Furnished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. There was a welcome basket and a pint of milk thoughtfully provided as well as tea , coffee and toiletries in the bathroom. We enjoyed walking round the corner to the beach and watching the sunsets at night. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again.

Mrs C,

Very comfortable, clean property with great views across the estuary. We really enjoyed our stay here, and felt completely comfortable with everything in the apartment, on our first holiday after Covid restrictions were eased.

Mr M,

Really lovely apartment, gorgeous view and very comfortable/well equipped. The location of the apartment is great, only a 4 min level walk to the local shop and about 7 mins level walk from the beach, pubs and restaurants. Instow itself is a lovely place and a great base for exploring north Devon from. Stayed 1st week of May, weather pleasant this time of year. We also found Marsdens cottages a very professional company to book through.

Mrs W,

The apartment was perfect for our post lockdown escape. The location is just perfect, on the estuary with a fabulous view across to Appledore, the sunsets were particularly beautiful as the sun goes down directly across from the patio doors from the lounge, perfect for early evening drinks. The apartment was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Much of the equipment was brand new and there was plenty of it. The apartments were very quiet and you are steps away from a fabulous restaurant with a rooftop terrace (the Boathouse) and a pub and a great deli. The beach is sandy and stretches for over a mile. It's a beautiful walk in the morning. The Appledore ice cream van visits daily and the beach is very safe for children. Within a 15 minute triangle you can be in Appledore, Westward Ho! and Bideford. The owner kept us informed well and we knew if we had any concerns how to contact him (we didn't!). A lovely place that we are keen to return to.

Mrs S,
