This lovely grade II listed cottage is situated within level walking distance of the quayside and the array of shops, pubs and family friendly restaurants that Appledore has to offer. The property has been recently refurbished to a good standard whilst retaining many period features including exposed beams (some low ceilings) and sash windows. A couple of shallow steps lead into the property, which has a very comfortable and attractive sitting room, with comfy settees and two winged-arm chairs. The well equipped country style kitchen is to the rear of the property and includes a Range Master cooker, Nespresso coffee machine and large table with two benches. In addition, there is a separate dining room with extendable table and chairs and feature fireplace. Off the kitchen is a spacious utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and separate ground floor wc. Carpeted stairs (with handrails) lead up to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms which face the front of the property and a separate spacious shower room, with large walk in shower. The rear garden accessed from the kitchen is fully enclosed and tiered, care must be taken with young children as the steps are quite steep. Westward Ho! with its award winning sandy beach is just 10 minutes drive, with RHS Garden Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal and many other local attractions all within a half hour drive. There is so much to explore and enjoy in this beautiful part of North Devon including large sandy surfing beaches, a rugged coastline with dramatic cliffs and coastal walks, picturesque villages and peaceful rural tranquillity, you will want to return year after year.
