Heading through, the bright and fully equipped kitchen/diner is perfect for rustling up and enjoying your favourite family dishes. Heading up the narrow cottage-style stairs, the first floor offers a refreshing family bathroom and two light, spacious bedrooms: a cheerful king-size room, and a relaxing twin room which has an additional step leading up to it. Whimbrel Cottage was warm, welcoming and well appointed. Apart from not being able to bring our car to the property because of the narrowness of the lane ( which you cant fix!) the property is wonderful and the bed extremely comfortable. Our furry friend was also well catered for.

The cottage was a lovely, cosy, comfortable place to stay in Appledore. Very close to the harbour, shops and pubs. It was the perfect size for two of us plus a little dog. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated extras like the Netflix account, books and games. Would definitely recommend for a trip to Appledore.
