This popular detached property provides bright and cheerful accommodation on the outskirts of the market town of Barnstaple and within easy access of both the spectacular North Devon coastline and Exmoor National Park. Within a few minutes stroll of local inns and shops, Cleeve has all the amenities to hand and is also in a great position to set off for a day on the beach at Saunton, Croyde or Woolacombe. Visitors can also enjoy an excursion to Exmoor to meet the ponies, or a cycle on the famous Tarka Trail (bicycles available to hire locally). The family attractions of The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Exmoor Zoo and the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are all easily accessible too. Upstairs in the dormer bungalow there are two bedrooms and a shower room and there is a further bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The good-sized lounge overlooks the garden and a very well-equipped kitchen leads through to an attractive dining room with a piano, ideal for family sing-songs. A further utility area is useful to keep on top of the holiday washing. A dartboard and multi games table can be found in the attached garage which also provides a safe place for surfboard and cycle storage. There is a large lawned, fully-enclosed garden at the back of the property and the garden furniture and portable barbecue make dining al fresco on the decked patio a relaxing treat.

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Living room with TV, BT sport, Netflix, DVD, CD and iPod dock, gas coal-effect fire. Kitchen with electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility area with washer/dryer, further freezer and sink. Dining room with piano and patio doors. Bedroom 1 with Twin. Bathroom with electric shower over bath, WC and basin. First Floor: Bedroom 2 with Double. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Shower room with power shower, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. WiFi. No smoking. 1 pet welcome. Highchair and two stair gates available. Garden furniture. Kettle BBQ and one complimentary disposable BBQ pack provided. Garage for storage. Driveway parking for 1 car and further roadside parking adjacent. Short breaks available.  Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.


We spent a week at Cleeve and loved it. The property is spacious, well laid in out and everything worked like it should. The location is brilliant for day trips in north Devon and surrounding areas such as Croyde beach, Saunton Sands, Braughton, Westward Ho etc all with 30 minutes.
