Description

This popular detached property provides bright and cheerful accommodation on the outskirts of the market town of Barnstaple and within easy access of both the spectacular North Devon coastline and Exmoor National Park. Within a few minutes stroll of local inns and shops, Cleeve has all the amenities to hand and is also in a great position to set off for a day on the beach at Saunton, Croyde or Woolacombe. A free parking permit for one vehicle at Croyde Down End car park is provided. Visitors can also enjoy an excursion to Exmoor to meet the ponies, or a cycle on the famous Tarka Trail (bicycles available to hire locally). The family attractions of The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Exmoor Zoo and the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are all easily accessible too. Upstairs in the dormer bungalow there are two bedrooms and a shower room and there is a further bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The good-sized lounge overlooks the garden and a very well-equipped kitchen leads through to an attractive dining room with a piano, ideal for family sing-songs. A further utility area is useful to keep on top of the holiday washing. A dartboard and multi games table can be found in the attached garage which also provides a safe place for surfboard and cycle storage. There is a large lawned, fully-enclosed garden at the back of the property and the garden furniture and portable barbecue make dining al fresco on the decked patio a relaxing treat.

First Floor: Bedroom 2 with Double. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Shower room with power shower, WC and basin.

Short breaks available.  Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.

We are a family of five with a dog and we’ve had a wonderful three night stay at Cleeve during October half-term. The property is spacious, clean and well equipped, with a lovely big garden, in an ideal location for dog walks and a great base for exploring beautiful Devon. A real home from home.
