Description

Braunton Patch is a modern, link-detached, contemporary property just a short stroll from the village centre with a great choice of shops, pubs and family friendly cafes and restaurants.  It is ideal for walkers and cyclists being close to the Tarka Trail which follows the route of the old railway line along the coast. Just a short drive takes you to the sandy, surfing beach at Saunton with its 3 miles of golden sands, café, shop and where it is even possible to hire a beach hut for the day.  A further 5 minutes’ drive brings you to the chocolate box village of Croyde with thatched cottages, shops and a choice of family friendly pubs and restaurants. Surfboard and wetsuit hire is available in the village as Croyde also boasts a stunning sandy beach which is popular with families and surfers alike.

The property makes an idea base with easy access to both rural and coastal facilities. The well equipped kitchen has a small seating area for 4 with cream units and wood flooring providing a light and airy feel.

In the cosy living room there is comfortable seating and also a dining area for 6, where you can enjoy a family meal whilst looking back over the days’ activities or plan the next day’s adventures. A door from this room leads out to a fully enclosed garden with both lawn and paved areas ideal for enjoying alfresco meals.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom 1 benefits from an ensuite shower room, whilst the bunk bedded room is suitable for children only. A selection of children’s toys, books, DVDs and board games are also supplied.
