Both cottages have bright and light interiors and are linked by a door in the second bedroom of each one. A colourful living room welcomes you to the right-hand cottage. Relax on the comfy sofas and catch up about the day, enjoy sociable meals in the stunning dining room with space for 10 or pop outside via the French doors. You’ll find everything you need in the kitchen and a breakfast bar for a quick cuppa. The cottage also has a handy downstairs WC. Upstairs there’s a gorgeous Master king-size bedroom, a pretty twin with a trundle bed, and a family bathroom. Next door, in the left-hand cottage, is a pretty lounge with a dining table, relaxed seating, and a kitchen with all mod cons. Upstairs are three bedrooms: two attractive doubles, and a single, plus a bathroom with a drench shower. Have a BBQ together in the shared garden while the children play outside.
Walk or cycle along the Tarka Trail, which runs through Braunton. Head to the beach, 3 miles of golden sands on Saunton Sands (3 miles away) where canines are welcome all year. Try water sports, surfing and paddleboarding at the schools nearby and beach volleyball at Croyde beach (5.5 miles). Play a round at Saunton Golf Club on Braunton Burrows sand dunes (2.5 miles), go horse riding at Woolacombe (6 miles) and check out the exciting activities at the outdoor centre at Appledore (16 miles).
