If you love exploring the great outdoors, this cottage in the village of Braunton is perfect for you and your family or group of friends. You're just a few hundred metres away from a variety of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and shops, perfect for a night out on foot. Plus, one of the UK's largest sand dune systems, the Braunton Burrows, is only 2 miles away where you can enjoy a myriad of walks and wildlife. When you return, a cosy wood burner awaits inside, or you can soak up the last of the sunshine in the cottage’s pretty garden.

Step inside this charming home-from-home to find a beautiful combination of original character and contemporary styling. Place your towels and sandals in the hallway before heading through to the kitchen to whip up a delicious meal. Return to the lounge/diner and have supper together around the dining table and reminisce about your day’s adventures. Then sink into the cosy sofas in front of the wood burner set in a traditional inglenook fireplace and relax. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor, with underfloor heating to keep you warm and toasty. On the first floor, a king-size and twin bedroom await to collapse into at the end of a long day. And when you wake, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the enclosed courtyard garden. Sit on the patio furniture or head up the steps to a second seating area on a decked terrace and admire the tranquil estuary views.

You can traverse the South West Coast Path for unbeatable views and walks, or, on the other side of Braunton Burrows, discover the stunning Saunton Sands Beach, 2.5 miles from the cottage. We had a lovely stay at the cottage which was very comfortable & clean. The wood burner made the lounge very cosy indeed. The co op was only a few minutes walk away and there is a fantastic fish & chip shop nearby too. Parking was fairly straightforward as there were plenty of spaces in the nearest car park.

A last minute booking and how lucky we we feel? Beautiful cottage with everything provided and after our days out it felt like coming home. Your cottage has made us consider owning a property here at some point. Once again and although I have said it. "A beautiful Cottage".

What a lovely week in Cosy Cottage! The perfect size for 3 of us and dog. The sun terrace is a real bonus - the photos online really don't do it justice. Highlights of our week included long walks with the dog over Braunton Burrows, surf lesson with Walking Waves at Saunton Sands and cycling to Barnstaple and back along the Tarka Trail. We had a comfortable cottage but the information on parking was not quiet correct as the pub manager Sean? refused to let us park there initially. Having listened to all the issues about payment which had nothing to do with us, he let us park there. After 5 hours drive we could've done without the hassle.
