Dovedale Cottage is set in the heart of the Cornish Countryside, just 5 miles from the coast and boasts a stunning ½ acre garden for children and pets to explore. A large traditional country kitchen is the perfect setting for cosy family meals and is ideal for families that like to cook together. The lounge offers a contemporary yet warm space to relax and enjoy the large wood burner as well as the smart TV which has a Netflix account for guests to use at their leisure. The owner has created a fantastic home from home, with high ceilings and luxury mattresses which you will struggle to live without when you leave and cute hand basins in some of the rooms to still keep the country cottage feel. This rural retreat set in the small hamlet of Broad Langdon is an absolute gem. It's still only 5 miles from the lovely Crackington Haven’s sandy beach and it's close enough for you to explore the great sights and coastline that Cornwall has to offer. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Dog bowls, towels and treats all provided. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Anything extra that we needed was quickly brought over by the owner, Liz, who lives next door. The adjoining field is mowed twice a week and is a great place for the dogs to play and the guests to relax in the sunshine. The only criticism is we could have done with another stand up shower which could easily be fitted in the bathroom. Loved our stay.
