A large modern kitchen offers all you will need to enjoy dining with friends and family with the dining table positioned to take advantage of the views. The very comfortable living room has dual aspect views of country, coast and sea and with comfy sofas and quiet corners this spacious attractive room is an ideal place from which to enjoy the dramatic every changing views as the tide ebbs and flows into the bay.  An attractive main double bedroom offers access to a small level enclosed garden and the twin bedded room offers views up the valley towards the Exmoor hills. Torcliffe's slate roofed entrance porch with outside light, cold water tap and adjacent newly built drying/boot room offers secure and heated storage of your outdoor gear. Extensive hillside gardens surround the property with sloping lawns, mature terraced borders and garden furniture. This popular coastal village is steeped in history and offers a good choice of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and shops. Offering plenty of experiences for the young and the young at heart this location is ideal for pure relaxation but also offers ample opportunities for many outdoor pursuits including rockpooling, kayaking, walking, fishing, riding and cycling. Being located with the Exmoor National Park, Torcliffe is close to the centre of Exmoor and many famous beauty spots are all just a short scenic drive including the twin villages of Lynton & Lynmouth.

Kitchen/Dining room with additional comfy seating and a double bed settee. Kitchen area with gas cooker, extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher and wall mounted 19" TV. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Bedroom 1 with King with 32" LED TV, en suite bathroom with shower over bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Also patio doors to small enclosed garden area. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Facilities and services: Linen and towels inclusive. (Please request linen and towels for sofa bed at the time of booking if needed). Gas CH. Wi-Fi broadband. 2 pets welcome. Baby bath available. Garden furniture. No smoking. Short breaks available Nov-Mar. Private parking for 3 cars, 25m down slope of lane in adjacent car bay below house. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday. The land/grassbank above the parking area also belongs to the owner and is available for dog exercises etc.

definitely a property with a wow reaction ,the views superb property spacious and combe martin a lovely small friendly village .only ten minutes to Ilfracombe it is a steep climb to the property but really worth it have booked again for next year enjoyed it so much

The views from the accommodation were spectacular and because of its high position we were able to sit on the terrace till late and enjoy the wonderful sunsets. When we arrived everything was cleaned to a high standard and there were nice little touches; we particularly enjoyed the chocolate cake. Torcliffe is a lovely, very relaxing place to stay and I would highly recommend it.
