Tucked away in a quiet lane just off the centre of Combe Martin village, is this spacious three-bedroom semi-detached cottage, making a perfect holiday base for getting together with family and friends and for exploring this stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can get away from it all, relax and unwind with village facilities just a few minutes’ walk and the North Devon Coast surrounding you.

This property offers a mixture of traditional furnishings and is surprisingly spacious. On the ground floor, a comfortable good-sized living room has a bay window offering delightful views across the village towards the hillside beyond and a wood burner in the feature fireplace for the cooler seasons. The well-equipped kitchen adjoins a large conservatory with dining suite, an ideal space for enjoying meals with family and friends and with French doors leading out into a lawned garden. Three bedrooms – a king, twin and a single are on the first floor along with a lovely family bathroom and there’s also an additional shower room on the ground floor making this property ideal for couples as well as families. Outside there is a patio and lawn with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining.

Combe Martin borders onto Exmoor National Park and is within 13 miles of the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, linked by the famous funicular railway, as well as being close to the fabulous beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton, all within 15 miles. Combe Martin is something of a hidden gem and this property is perfectly placed to explore the village, beach and surrounding countryside. The sand and shingle cove is ideal for a picnic on the beach or as a launch point for sea kayaking and fishing in the bay, where you may even spot a dolphin or two. Footpaths radiate out from the village along the dramatically craggy coastline heading south to Berrynarbor and north to the impressive Hangman Hills with Exmoor National Park visible in the distance. The South West Coast Path and local countryside also offer a range of walks from easy to challenging. A good selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops can be found on the mile-long walk down the High Street to the picturesque beach, flanked by its rock pools.

Great location to spend a nice and cozy time away from everything as we wanted. So close to the sea! Definitely recommend it for a nice getaway weekend. We'll be back there in the future.

Within walking distance to the village, beach, shops, pubs and bus routes this is a lovely spacious home from home. Great addition of the downstairs shower room and toilet, with a small outdoor space too. There is a cat that frequently visits (and doesn't hesitate to walk in through any open door) so do bear this in mind if you have allergies or smRead moreall children. Hide

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage is set back from the main high street but it is conveniently placed for the beach, the local pub and the chip shop. The cottage itself has a lovely dining conservatory and relaxing living room, the bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable, outside is a nice garden with table and chairs. GreaRead moret holiday and would definitely stay again. Hide

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your lovely cottage, we have had a lovely week away here. It was lovely being visited by the local cat everyday who was very friendly. Fantastic views of hangman's hill while relaxing in the conservatory. It was a lovely surprise to find milk and biscuits along with tea and sugar.
