This uniquely designed holiday chalet has been thoughtfully designed and mirrors its sister chalet Cockleshell, which sits next door. The quaint village is only a short walk and offers pretty thatched tea rooms, a selection of restaurants, pubs and stores, also ideal for hiring surf boards and wetsuits. The wonderful sandy surfing beach of Croyde is only a short walk across a grassed area, conveniently accessed at the bottom of the cul de sac, to avoid any main roads. If surfing is your thing then look no further, Croyde is renowned for its amazing surf, and if your just starting out there are a couple of local surf schools which will get you going. At low tide rock pools can be found at either end of the beach, great for little ones to explore and see what they can find. 

Pipedream is all on one level, with air source under-floor heating throughout. The handy entrance porch is ideal for storing all the families walking boots and flip flops, the open plan kitchen/dining/living room features oak Karndean flooring, vaulted ceilings and large picture windows, with an electric velux window providing more light from the ceiling which hangs with industrial light fittings. The holiday home’s kitchen area is light with bright white units, a lovely green glass splashback and is equipped with modern appliances. There is the breakfast bar area, so ideal for that large cup of coffee to start your day, an oak dining table is provided for family gatherings and the living area with its two large sofas and TV with Freesat and an XBOX 360, a Dimplex electric wood effect fire sits under the TV for extra warmth on a cooler day. There are patio doors leading from the lounge area out onto the front terrace, as a door from the kitchen area which leads out to the rear decked patio area with table and chairs.

Walk through to the bedrooms and bathroom area, the master room has a King Size bed with Smart TV, fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the rear decked area. Bedroom two has 2'6" twin beds which can be zip n linked to form a Kingsize bed on request, the third bedroom offers a single bed, all rooms are serviced by the main bathroom which has a square end bath with shower over, washbasin and WC, heated towel radiator.

There is a useful outside hot shower perfect for rinsing off after a day on the beach.

Accommodation: Porch. Open plan kitchen/dining and living room with Smart TV, Freeview and XBOX 360.  Kitchen area with electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer.  Bedroom one with King size bed and Smart TV, patio doors to the rear decked area. Bedroom two with 2'6" Zip'n'link beds which can be converted into a Kingsize on request (please notify at time of booking), with Smart TV. Bedroom three with Single bed. Bathroom provides a square end bath with shower over, washbasin and WC, heated towel radiator.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Air source underfloor heating (please note that the property is insulated and the thermostat merely tells you the temperature, you are unable to lower this and may need to open windows during warm weather to cool the air). Wi-Fi. No smoking. highchair available. Travel Cot available. 2 allocated parking spaces. 2 Pets welcome. Garden furniture. Short breaks available.  Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Friday. Outdoor socket 13 amp plugs from which electric vehicles can be charged (with the correct charger).


Lovely modern property with all mod cons. External warm shower very handy for surfers and swimmers. Only 5 mins walk from the beach across fields and dunes. Short walk to centre.

Pipedream is in an excellent location, we found all we wanted only a short walk away. The property felt welcoming and ideal for hanging out between active days and evenings. Our dog had enough space indoors and out too. The rooms are super comfy for a good nights sleep.
