Halcyon is a delightful family home situated within the picturesque village of Georgeham. It has been recently renovated giving it a light and spacious feel.  The village boasts two local pubs serving real ales as well as a village shop, all just a short walk away.  The stunning three-mile expanse of golden sands at Putsborough is just over a mile away and is ideal for surfers and water enthusiasts. Seasoned surfers will be seduced by the Atlantic swells and excellent surf spots close by, while rookies can hire a board from one of the local surf schools under friendly, expert guidance, especially in Croyde.  For walkers take the South West Coastal path along one of the many dramatic cliff walks or to Croyde and enjoy a Devon cream tea afterwards.

The property has been designed to offer spacious living accommodation with a contemporary styled theme. The open plan kitchen/dining/living space has patio doors from both the dining area and living room which give access to the rear enclosed decked patio area with garden furniture.  The kitchen is fitted with a range of modern cream units and has everything you might need for a family meal. The house is a true gem, very comfortable beds and lounge area, spotlessly clean, high quality provision of everything needed to self cater, a real home from home. Stunning views from the top of the garden, watched the sun go down a few times. 2nd time we have stayed and will definitely return soon

Mr T,

Halcyon is a real home from home, great decor and beautifully clean. Sofas and beds were very comfortable, would recommend.

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage, great location for beaches, local shop and pubs brilliant and good bus service from the end of the road. Cottage was exceptionally clean & well equipped.

Mr P,

We loved the property and all the effort that has gone into making it a home from home. We have stayed in many properties in the UK but very rarely do you find one of such a high standard from all the cutlery / plates / glasses etc and quality white goods / wet-rooms fixtures and fittings etc you really could not want for any more. The house was spotlessly clean, the towels / bedding / beds / sofas were all really lovely and comfy. We will definitely go back, you can truly be happy and settled there come rain or shine.

Mr T,

Great house in the pretty village of Georgeham. Only 30 minutes walk to the beach at Putsborough and close to Croyde. Two pubs in walking distance and tasty fish and chip van on Tuesday nights! The house is clean and fresh and has good views of the Devon hills from upstairs and the garden. Very close to the Tarka Trail cycle route, hire bikes at Barnstaple. Tarka the Otter book & film written by Henry Williamson, who lived in Georgeham.

Mr F,

Lovely property; everything felt brand new, was well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely walks from the doorstep to Woolacombe and Putsborough. Handy local shop 2 mins walk and a visiting fish and chip van once a week! Great holiday, thank you.

Mrs S,
