Rosemary House is a bright and spacious home in the picturesque village of Georgeham, perfectly located only one and a half miles from the golden sandy beaches of Croyde and Putsborough, both great beaches for relaxing days out or fun in the surf. The village itself has two popular pubs for eating out and a village shop, all within a short walking distance.

Light and bright with a coastal theme throughout, the property is tastefully decorated and many of the rooms benefit from inspiring views of the North Devon countryside. The living room is the hub of house, perfect for families or groups of friends. The open plan living area has comfortable sofas centred around a contemporary electric fire and 47" flat screen TV. The open plan dining area is perfect for family gatherings or dinner parties with patio doors providing access to the garden.  Leading off from the living room you enter a modern well equipped kitchen, which has a convenient breakfast room seating 6 just off it.

Located on the ground floor is a twin bedroom and shower room. This is ideal for those guests who would benefit from easily accessed sleeping accommodation. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and main bathroom.

Please note if up to six in the group 3 bedrooms only are available. Guests can choose to use all 3 upstairs bedrooms or alternatively, the ground floor bedroom and two bedrooms upstairs - please advise bed makeup at time of booking.

The spacious master double bedroom located on the first floor benefits from a super king size bed that can be unzipped into two singles upon request at time of booking. There is also a single trundle bed in this room for flexible sleeping arrangements.  The other bedroom on the first floor has a king size bed with views of the rolling Devon hills.  All of the upstairs bedrooms are served by the well-appointed main bathroom. The property benefits from a large rear enclosed garden.  Steps lead down to the raised patio area with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. There is a built-in BBQ and an outdoor seating, ideal for warm summer evenings outdoors. A further few steps bring you to a sizeable slightly sloped lawned area. There is driveway parking for two cars and plenty more residential parking close by.

There are delightful views of the rolling hills and the countryside beyond from many of the rooms. Great base to explore North Devon. Good space to spread out and well equipped. Love the views at the back! As we didn't bring our dogs we were able to spend more time on Croyde Beach. Park in National Trust car park (free if member) - bit of a hike to the beach though. Two good cafes nearby (NT and Baggy Surf Lodge + cafe). Tarka Trail is good fun. Hire a bike from T.T. Cycle Hire by Barnstaple railway station.

Mrs Alex P,

The Stupmanis family have returned again. A wonderful break although the weather could have been kinder. See you again soon!

Mrs Sally S,

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. What a fabulous house. All amenities you could need. Great location with 2 good pubs in the village! House was warm, clean and really inviting. The dogs had a fabulous time!

mrs J S,

A lovely home in a wonderful place, everything we needed was here. Cosy and peaceful.

Previous Customer,

Milk & Biscuits appreciated - thanks Weather fab. Virtually all week. We loved it, the walk to Baggy Point from Croyde; Lynmouth and its terrific water - powered railways. RHS Rosemoor. Highlight was Hartland Quay which is stunning. TV reception not always a 100% and mobile phone reception barely above 0% until very late in the evening. Local pubs OK.

Tom & L,

A lovely home in a wonderful place, everything we needed was here. Cosy and so peaceful I think it is fair to say we will be back.

Mrs Louise B,

Really enjoyed our 2 weeks staying at Rosemary House. The first week was rather wet and windy, but we still enjoyed the lovely beaches and coastal paths. Our last week has been really lovely, so enjoyed all the beautiful views along the coast. Had nice meals at the pubs in the village and can recommend them. The house is very comfortable with lovely views. Thank you for milk, biscuits, tea and coffee, much appreciated!

Mrs Joy M,

Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us, We have had a wonderful week visiting our favourite places. What could beat walking along the sands of Putsborough? Very sad to be leaving this beautiful area of Devon, but I am sure we will return.

Mr Duncan B,

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house, beds were extremely comfortable! Biscuits were yummy and a lovely thought. We would have liked a few more condiments such as salt and pepper and cooking oil. We were very lucky with the weather, very sunny and warm, so plenty of time on the beach! It was so warm in the evening that we used the BBQ in the garden! Thanks again, we hope to return soon!
