Lovingly renovated by the owners in 2017, this charming cottage is set 500m from Hele Bay, a small sheltered cove in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Jewel cottage looks out down the valley towards the sea and provides a great base for a truly memorable North Devon holiday. Keen ramblers can readily access the South West Coast Path that meanders along the stunning and rugged coastline to Exmoor, in one direction, and towards the area's wonderful golden sandy beaches in the other.
The bustling harbour town of Ilfracombe is close by and which boasts Damien Hirst's famous sculpture, 'Verity'. Ilfracombe has a good selection of cafes, pubs and excellent restaurants from which to choose. Fishing trips and coastal cruises, including to the wildlife haven of Lundy Island depart from its harbour.

The dining room is on the other side of the kitchen and has a wooden floor, a pine dresser and table for six. Access outside to the enclosed garden is from either the dining room or the door just by the kitchen. The cottage garden is sure to prove a popular place to sit out and relax, with its planted borders and fruit trees. A barbecue is provided so ‘al fresco’ meals may well feature during your holiday.

A lovely cottage, very well equipped.A good area for plenty of activities.
The cottage was cosy and warm, a very welcoming house to come back to after a day out. In fact had weather been bad house would have been very comfortable. Owners were very helpful as was the housekeeper. A charming place to stay in every way.
