Description

Located in the middle of Ilfracombe's historic Fore Street, once the home of shipwrights and mariners, Sea Fore is set right in the heart of this popular coastal town and benefits from its own parking.

If you are looking for a sociable long weekend away with friends or perhaps taking a well-deserved week off with your partner or family, the cottage is a real treat, set amongst the pet and family friendly pubs and excellent restaurants of Fore Street and with the harbourside easily accessible through a nearby walkway. Here you can enjoy a sea fishing trip, go seal spotting or even book a day trip aboard MS Oldenburg to the famous home of Puffins - Lundy Island. Keen ramblers can readily access the South West Coast Path that meanders along the stunning coastline to Exmoor, in one direction, and towards the award winning Woolacombe beach in the other.

The property has formally been used as the owners own holiday home, and benefits from a few home comforts. The open plan living/kitchen/dining area allows guests to socialise whilst preparing meals in the well equipped kitchen, however with so many delightful restaurants in the town you may want to take a break from cooking. Relax on the comfy corner sofa or additional tub chairs, there is also a table seating 4 and breakfast bar with bar stools. Off the Hallway there is a downstairs toilet and stairs which lead to the first floor, here there are two attractive bedrooms, a double and a bunk bedded room, along with the family bathroom with shower over bath and heated towel rail. Further stairs lead up to the master bedroom with sloping ceilings and velux windows. All bedrooms are light and airy and have been nicely colour co-ordinated. This very conveniently located property makes an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area and with the added benefit of its own private parking we are sure that Seafore will become a favourite with guests looking for a great holiday here in North Devon.

Reviews

Having stayed at the property last year, it once again met our needs. It helps that you are allowed a pet. The grandchildren loved their visit, going to the swimming baths as the weather wasn’t very good. Hopefully we will return next year as I have family in Ilfracombe and know the area well.
