With views over sand dunes to the sea Flora Cottage could not be in a better position to enjoy the delightful village of Instow, which lies within both the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Instow's delightful beach, pubs, restaurants, shops and renowned delicatessen are a pleasant level stroll away and the picturesque Taw and Torridge Estuary, popular with yachtsmen and fishermen, with superb views of Appledore, provides a constantly changing backdrop. For walkers and cyclists the popular Tarka Trail, running parallel with the estuary, is a must, with its scenic views, wild flowers and huge variety of birdlife. Easily accessible from Flora Cottage, the Trail gives a direct car-free link to Barnstaple, Bideford and beyond. The surfing havens of Westward Ho! and Croyde, the bathing beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe and the famous RHS Garden Rosemoor are a short drive away. In a quiet cul-de-sac, Flora Cottage has a bright, comfortable lounge leading through an archway to a light-filled dining area and well-equipped kitchen. An open staircase leads to two bedrooms, one of which has lovely sea views which are a real treat to wake up to, and a well appointed shower room. Outside there is a small fully enclosed paved garden with garden furniture where you can enjoy striking views across to Appledore and spectacular sunsets on balmy evenings.

Ground floor: Living room with TV, DVD and stereo.Kitchen with electric cooker, ceramic hob and extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.First floor: Bedroom 1 with double. Bedroom 2 with 3ft single and additional 3ft single pullout bed (strictly by arrangement) to provide a compact twin room. Shower room with large walk in shower, WC and basin.  NB This property can only accommodate 4 or 3 +cot (not supplied).

Linen and Towels. Gas CH. WiFi Broadband. No smoking. No pets. No short breaks. Enclosed paved rear patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car at the rear of the property. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday

Excellent location , a home from home , no washing to do when we got home thanks to the washing machine provided, bedding nice and crisp and clean ,4 pubs in village and lovely beach and walks with a bus service - sorted !
