Dune View is a light and bright holiday home just two minutes from the sandy beach at Instow. A short stroll from the village pubs, cafes and restaurants spread out along the estuary, the property is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac yet benefits from lovely sea views from some rooms.  Instow is popular with yachtsmen and it is delightful to sit and watch the sails fluttering in the wind as the boats head along the estuary and out to sea. On dry land, the famous 'Tarka Trail' wends its way through the village and cyclists will love the scenic, level and car-free track south to Bideford and beyond and north to Barnstaple (bicycles for hire locally). There are more shops and restaurants in both towns. The surfing beach of Westward Ho! is within easy reach and the wide, golden sands of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe are 30 minutes' drive away across the river. Walkers will enjoy the challenging section of the South West Coastal path along the heritage coastline of Hartland Peninsular which features spectacular views at every turn. Dune View has been well-decorated, and the splashes of colour throughout give a cheerful aura. Upstairs there are two attractive bedrooms and a bathroom and downstairs an additional living room/third bedroom has a double bed settee. The main lounge opens up into a good-sized kitchen/diner and patio doors lead to the back garden. Fully enclosed, the lawned rear is ideal for children and pets and also offers garden furniture where guests can soak up the sea views.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Living room with wall mounted electric fire, Smart TV with Freesat. Archway to kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, small freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher and manual espresso machine for ground coffee. Annex sitting room with double bed settee, TV with freesat and DVD player and patio doors to rear garden. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with Twin (2'6" beds, can be made to double on request). Bathroom with bath and shower over bath, dual heated towel rail, WC and basin.

We have been going to this lovely property for a number of years. It’s in a ideal location close to the amenities but not noisy and there’s car parking provided behind which is very convenient.
