The Old School House is a deceptively large character cottage situated in an elevated position above the pretty village of Instow, with views over the countryside to the estuary.

Located just a short walk from the waterfront village of Instow, with a pretty setting overlooking Appledore and Crow’s Point, there is a lovely beach and a selection of local bars and cafes serving delicious local food and drink. The waterfront is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunset, or the nearby Tarka Trail is ideal for cyclists and dog-walkers.

The property is nestled in a quieter part of the village, atop a nearby hill. The garden can be accessed through the entrance hall, and there is a storage area for bikes etc, and a decked area with ample seating and a parasol and BBQ area. The interior of The Old School House has been furnished tastefully, with exposed brick walls, solid wood flooring, a log burner and a spiral staircase adorning the spacious lounge and dining area. The kitchen has been thoughtfully stocked and there is a ground floor shower room.

The spiral staircase (may be unsuitable for guests with restricted mobility) leads to the first floor, where there are four good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms feature views over Instow and out to the estuary.
