Visitors will not be disappointed with this spacious high quality property, occupying a commanding position on the banks of the East Lyn River.  Close to the centre of the popular coastal village of Lynmouth with its picturesque harbour, beautiful coastal scenery and plenty of individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The East Lyn River flows down from Exmoor through  valleys of ancient woodland passing famous beauty spots such as Watersmeet as it cascades over rocks to the sea. This beautiful deeply cut valley offers wonderful walks, an abundance of wildlife, glorious views and a fabulous location to relax and unwind.  The property is laid out over three floors and offers wonderful views over the river valley from all main rooms as well as the soothing sounds of the river flowing by.  The quality, design and comfort of this character property is perfect for family holidays or the chance to get away with friends. The ground floor has a spacious kitchen/breakfast room with an attractive country cream kitchen including all you will need to prepare meals for family and friends. The separate dining room with TV and electric Log Burner style fire is adjacent, with access via a glazed door to the spacious patio garden, which is on two levels. This well designed and secluded outdoor space, adds another 'room' to this wonderful holiday home. The upper level has an outdoor suite with firepit/BBQ table and the lower level has a large outdoor dining table, barbeque and firepit. There is also ample space for loungers, where you will soon appreciate why this delightful property is named “Sunny Corner " The cosy and inviting, dual aspect living room is on the first floor to take full advantage of the wonderful views. There are three attractive bedrooms each with beautiful river and countryside views. A master bedroom on the first floor with ensuite facilities and two further bedrooms (twin and double) as well as a family bathroom can be found on the second floor. Sunny Corner, being located in the Exmoor National Park, is an ideal property for walkers with a choice of river, countryside and coastal walks all available from your doorstep.  For those who wish to explore Exmoor this is a great base with opportunities to explore on horseback, on an organised safari or by car with famous beauty spots such as Tarr Steps, The Doone Valley and Porlock Weir easily acceptable. Further afield pretty country villages, historic market towns, high cliffs, sandy coves as well as the huge sandy surfing beaches around Woolacombe and Croyde are all within a short scenic drive.

The location of the property is excellent and a great base for this part of Devon. There is plenty of room over three floors and there is a great outdoor space to relax when the sun is shining, including all the cooking accessories. There are walks up to Watersmeet right from the door, although at the moment of writing this review the National Trust cafe was closed due a landslide. Would certainly stay here again.
