As the name suggests Highview is located in an enviable elevated position and offers wonderful sea and coastal views. This detached bungalow is a great base for couples and families seeking a more peaceful location on the edge of the popular beach resort of Woolacombe.  The special views can be enjoyed both internally from most rooms and externally from a rear garden patio as well as from a recently added front patio . Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the village but only a short downhill stroll to its award winning 3 mile expanse of surfing sands(voted best beach in the UK by Tripadvisor), shops and a selection of vibrant cafes, restaurants and bars. Large picture windows in the living areas and main bedroom offer direct views of stunning Woolacombe Bay, Lundy Island and the rolling National Trust hillside.  From the recently widened driveway providing parking for 2 cars the bungalow is approached by 20 steps up to the main entrance at the side of the property. Internally all rooms are on one level. The hallway leads into an attractive living room with ample comfy seating and a bed settee for alternative sleeping. The wonderful views from this room can be enjoyed no matter what the season and the sunsets are absolutely stunning. A separate dining room with an attractive dining suite also benefits from the awe inspiring views and is a wonderful space for getting together with family and friends at breakfast to plan the day ahead or a relaxing evening meal.  A newly fitted and well equipped kitchen at the rear of the property leads into a small conservatory great for quiet relaxation and heated for all seasons.  Two delightful bedrooms lead off the hallway and are served by a newly fitted stylish bathroom and cloakroom.  Enjoy waking up to wonderful sea views from the Superking size bed in the spacious front bedroom . A twin bedroom is situated at the rear overlooking the pretty back garden.  At the rear of the property an outdoor cold/hot shower is ideal when returning from the beach and there is a separate place for wet suits to be washed and hung up. A few steps with handrail leads through the sloping lawned garden to a raised patio where wonderful  sea and coastal views add something special when enjoying al fresco dining. With secure storage in the garage for beach equipment, surf boards and cycles this is an ideal property for those seeking a lively activity holiday but equally its perfect for a relaxing break.

Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, slimline dishwasher and tumble dryer in garage. Conservatory. Bedroom 1 with Superking.  Bedroom 2 with Twin.  Bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and basin. Cloakroom with WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wifi Broadband. No smoking. Feather pillows and duvets supplied. Regret no pets however the owner occasionally brings their own dog to the property. Patio furniture provided for front and rear seating area. No cot provided please bring your own travel cot. Highchair available. Outdoor hot shower. Private driveway parking for 2 cars and roadside parking close by. Lockable storage in small garage.  Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.



A real home from home; with stunning views of the bay and a wonderfully comfortable bed, we didn't want to leave this property at the end of the week. The house was very clean and the biscuits and pint of milk on our arrival, a nice touch. Just wish the house was on the market, as we would like to live there permanently!

The property is in an elevated position within walking distance of the beach. It is spacious, light and airy with wonderful sea and countryside views from all front facing windows. Comfortable beds, well kitted out kitchen, a non overlooked back garden and seating area to the front, plus parking on the driveway for two cars all help to make this property outstanding. We will definitely return.
