Light and airy, with large windows that make the most of the spectacular views over Woolacombe Sands, Lundy Island and the Atlantic Ocean beyond, this sizable detached 4-bedroom house is made for those families who love to be beside the sea and relish not having to use the car. Just 5 minutes walk from the award winning beach, visitors are attracted by surfing, sunbathing and sand-castle building, although this is also prime walking country with spectacular coastal trails on the doorstep. Guests can easily saunter into the centre of Woolacombe and enjoy refreshments at one of the independent bars, cafes and ice-cream parlours, or perhaps pick up supplies to enjoy back at the house, inside or out. There is a fully equipped and stylish kitchen including large american fridge/freezer with ice and water dispenser, stylish quartz stone worktops, a Nespresso machine and all the small kitchen appliances and utensils you'd expect at home, that makes rustling up supper effortless. The dining table is strategically placed in front of a large picture window overlooking the sea and the double-sided woodburner makes this space cosy at any time of the year. Off the dining area is a family room with one of two HD TVs, hundreds of books, a range of toys, table football, an iPod dock with speakers and an Apple computer, which is perfect for kids. French doors lead onto a deck that is a suntrap in fine weather, with a swing seat and large table and chairs. A comfortable living room with a real fire has fine sea views and a large Freeview HD TV with surround sound system and multi-room music system. The dresser is filled with family board games. There is fast unlimited fibre broadband throughout the house. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, all with ocean views, and a brand new family bathroom with bath and separate corner shower. The first bedroom has a double bed with a brand new en-suite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and views over the village and beach. The second bedroom has a superking sized bed with fabulous views of the beach and a private balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the 270 degree views. Bedroom three has sea views towards Morte Point and is a twin which can on request be configured as a superking - offering greater flexibility for larger parties. The fourth bedroom sleeps 4 with twin beds and bunk beds offering a great space for kids to bed down. A useful utility room and ground floor cloakroom take ample care of all the necessities, as does a heated outdoor shower and hanging area; ideal for rinsing wet suits and sandy feet. A large fully enclosed rear garden has a children's climbing frame with wendy house.
