Description

Peacefully situated on a traditional sheep farm located just a short walk from the centre of the Exmoor village of Bratton Fleming. Button Barn has been carefully converted to retain much of the original character of this traditional barn including feature stone walls attractive arched doors and exposed beams. The surrounding countryside is quite breathtakingly beautiful and the barn offers a spacious and comfortable base to explore Exmoor and the magnificent coastline in this special part of Devon. The good sized, beamed, open plan living room has a feature fireplace with a woodburner which together with central heating provides year round warmth. An attractive arched doorway from the living room gives access to the shared fully enclosed rear garden area. All you could need to cater for friends and family is in the modern kitchen that has plenty of room for dining.  On the first floor there is a spacious double bedroom with an attractive apex ceiling and a twin bedroom with sloping ceilings and velux windows and each room has wonderful views across Exmoor countryside.  Shared garden areas surround the property with plenty of space for relaxation and alfresco dining. The nearby village with its small general stores is just a 10 minute walk and delightful walks along local footpaths and bridleways are all close by including the Millenium Green offering circular woodland walks, an enclosed childrens play area and assault course. The barn offers an ideal base for couples and families and the owner welcomes guests to roam the farmlands to take advantage of the rural tranquillity that is a haven for wildlife including the famous Exmoor deer. The market town of Barnstaple with its pannier market, shops, pubs and restaurants is just a 10 minute drive away, and the picturesque sandy coves around Combe Martin and dramatic Exmoor coastline are also within a scenic 10 mile journey.

Kitchen/dining room with electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. First floor:  Bedroom 1 with Double with TV. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Shower room with corner shower, WC and basin.
