Lovingly restored to a high standard and adjoining the owner's own listed home, Little Wick is a truly relaxing haven. Nestling in the pretty hamlet of Week, to the edge of the Taw Valley and surrounded by delightful gardens this pretty cottage is just perfect for couples or small families. With simple white walls, touches of exposed stone, beams and lovely pine latch doors many original features remain. In an open plan style, the comfortable living/dining/kitchen opens onto the garden and an open tread staircase leads to the attractive bedrooms and family bathroom.

Set in over two acres the gardens are quite simply stunning. The owner welcomes guests to explore the different areas and enjoy all the varying aspects and features.  There are two ponds, one sunken and the other is raised displaying a fountain, whilst sculptured box trees envelop seating areas inviting rest and relaxation.  The owner is a ceramic artist who exhibits at Broomhill Sculpture Gardens, Muddiford and Echo Beach Gallery in Ilfracombe.  Examples of her work can be found in the woodland part of the garden.  A large grassed section is ideal for children's play and whilst the energetic party members let off steam playing football, there are more tranquil areas for those wishing to enjoy a few peaceful moments.

Peacefully located yet within only a short drive of the historic town of Barnstaple and just a little further to North Devon's spectacular coastline, many attractions including RHS Rosemoor are also within easy reach. Having discovered this idyllic spot, guests will be reluctant to leave.
