An impressive farm building conversion, Leyland Barn sits in its own large gardens on the edge of the village of Bradworthy in the midst of the pretty North Devon countryside. This is a true rural getaway and a peaceful spot from which to venture forth and explore the area. Bradworthy with its village shops and characterful inn is just a short walk away and the spectacular North Devon and North Cornwall coastline can be reached within 15 minutes scenic drive. Head north to visit the historic village of Clovelly with its cobbled streets tumbling down to the sea or south to Bude with its shops, restaurants, cafes and surfing beach.  The wild and natural Hartland Peninsular and its stunning coastline is uncrowded and unspoilt and really takes one's breath away. The delights of Dartmoor National Park make a great day out too. Leyland Barn has a light and airy feel with spacious rooms and good quality furnishings throughout. The character of the barn is evident, with latched doors, beamed ceilings and a feature fireplace adding to the overall charm of the place. Upstairs there are two good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom, whilst downstairs a large kitchen/diner and comfortable lounge allow plenty of living space. French doors from the lounge lead out to a lovely south-facing lawn. Ideal for children and pets to play in, there is also a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue for the whole family to enjoy.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Hall. Living room with wood-burner, TV, DVD and CD player. Kitchen/diner with electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine (use of owner's freezer and tumble dryer by arrangement). First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double (child's Z- bed available) Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bathroom with electric shower over bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and services: Linen and towels. Oil-fired CH. Logs available locally. No Wifi. 1 pet welcome (£25 security deposit required). Highchair and cot available. Garden furniture. Barbecue. No smoking. Ample driveway parking for several cars. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
