Situated in the small hamlet of Kingsheanton, Fritham Cottage combines the charm of a period building with modern touches, such as Wi-Fi, that you might expect from your North Devon holiday. Family and friends will find the cottage full of character and a comfortable, convenient base. The cottage retains a number of its original features. In the living room the entrance door is low and the ceiling has attractive wooden beams. The stone fireplace complete with log burner, is a cosy place to relax and has two sofas. On the way through to the kitchen is the dining table which seats six. The kitchen is well equipped, has a wooden table and also a stable door overlooking the garden. One bedroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs in the spacious bedroom with double and ensuite shower room. There is also a single room and a fourth bedroom which is set as a single but can also be arranged to sleep two children as it also has a pull out single bed (however, please note space is limited). The secluded, south-facing, enclosed garden is a real highlight and has a patio for alfresco meals and an attractive lawn.

Next to the cottage is a public bridleway, ideal for walking the dog. The gardens and tea rooms at Marwood are within half a mile. Being less than 10 miles from the wide sandy surfing beaches at Saunton and Croyde or just a 10 minute drive from all the village amenities of Braunton or the historic town of Barnstaple including pannier market, shops and restaurants this rural property provides a "best of both worlds" location.

The cottage sleeps up to 6 but with a maximum of 5 adults due to the bed arrangements. Note: the cottage does have a number of low doorways and ceilings so please take care and mind your head.
