Swallows Barn is your ultimate escape to the country. This spacious property offers a wonderful rural retreat on a 300 acre sheep and arable farm on the edge of the Exmoor National Park.  Just one of two properties at the same location which have been newly converted from original stone barns for the 2019 season.  Designed with space, light and comfort in mind this truly delightful property provides a balance of original character including beams and high ceilings and modern contemporary living offering all you will need for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. 

In a beautiful tranquil location the barn is ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life giving you a peaceful base to relax, unwind and commune with nature. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm with inspiring walks to be enjoyed directly from the grounds and further walks and other outdoor pursuits including riding and fishing can be enjoyed within the splendour of the Exmoor National Park, just a short drive away. The facilities of the market town of South Molton (known as the Gateway to Exmoor) is just 3 miles away and includes the historic pannier market, antique shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants as well as a local supermarket.

On the ground floor a very spacious and comfortable living room has a high apex ceiling and large windows to enjoy the views, a comfortable leather suite surrounding a woodburner and a dining suite to enjoy meals with family and friends.  The well equipped kitchen provides all you need to prepare and enjoy meals at the dining table, on the large terrace or even a picnic to share at one of the many beauty spots in the surrounding countryside, also a downstairs bathroom.  There are two spacious and attractive beamed bedrooms on the first floor each have ensuite facilities and offer great country views.

The delightful historic market town of South Molton is just 3 miles distant and offers a choice of shops, restaurants, tea rooms and pubs and there are many character country pubs serving good food just a short drive.  For those who wish to enjoy not only the countryside but also the dramatic coastline of Exmoor and the golden sand and surfing beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde these are all within a 40 minute scenic drive. So no matter what the season this high quality holiday property will provide you with a holiday you will remember and are sure to return to year after year.
