Set close to the village of Swimbridge in North Devon, Mill Court is surrounded by rolling green hills and peaceful open countryside. These charming stone barn conversions offer a tranquil yet convenient base from which to explore the area. On the outskirts of Exmoor, visitors will enjoy the many opportunities to explore the National Park and perhaps try some fishing, cycling and horse riding. For those wishing to head to the coast, the golden sands and surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde are a 30 minute trip. Heading up the Atlantic Highway, the charming fishing villages of Instow and Appledore are well worth exploring. For a little retail therapy the many shops, cafes and restaurants in the market town of Barnstaple are within 4 miles drive. From Barnstaple the Tarka Line train wends its way through glorious rural scenery to the city of Exeter. One of just two properties overlooking a quiet courtyard, Dairy Cottage is comfortably furnished and retains its original character with beamed ceilings and exposed roof trusses. The spacious open plan lounge has large squashy sofas and a feature fireplace. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner. Up the open stairs are two attractive bedrooms and a bathroom. A private lawned and fenced garden with river border 20 yards distant offers a great place to relax. A characterful village inn is handily located 300 yards away and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep. 

Accommodation: Ground floor: Living room with log effect electric fire, double bed settee, TV, DVD and iPod dock. Kitchen/dining room with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double and ensuite shower room and basin. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bathroom with bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wi-Fi.  Regret no pets. Highchair. No smoking. Babysitting possible by arrangement. Short breaks available. Private parking in courtyard. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
