Located only moments from the South West Coast Path, this semi-detached property is part of a small collection of homes that sit beside a restaurant on the edge of Bolberry Down. Decorated and furnished with light colours to complement its surroundings, it welcomes guests into an open-plan space where four can spend time together comfortably. Sure to inspire even the most reluctant of chefs, the contemporary kitchen features beautiful white granite worktops, sleek units and all the self-catering must-haves, including a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning refreshment. Dine in style then curl up on the corner sofa to watch a movie – or maybe just enjoy the view through the patio doors onto the garden and countryside beyond. A shower room and utility room complete the ground floor layout; upstairs there’s a family bathroom with both a free-standing bath and a separate shower. Also off the landing are cupboards providing hanging space for each bedroom, both of which have excellent sea views. One bedroom has twin beds while the other has a double bed and benefits from its own balcony – sit at the bistro table here and gaze across land and water to Burgh Island. This property has a choice of two outdoor areas so you can enjoy the sunshine and sea air as much as possible. To the front there’s a gravelled garden with patio table and four chairs and to the rear is an enclosed gravelled patio with rattan chairs, coffee table and two-seater sofa plus a small grassed area beyond.

Follow the South West Coast Path across the National Trust’s Bolberry Down to Soar Mill Cove – only 1 mile away, you can stroll along the sandy beach at low tide and spot seasonal wildlife. About 2 miles in the other direction the picturesque fishing village of Hope Cove has two sandy beaches, a harbour, a popular pub, seafood restaurant and art gallery. For a wider choice of shops and eateries head 4 miles cross-country to Salcombe, a haven for the yachting fraternity and home to some gorgeous beaches.

Easy booking procedure. Clear instructions and timely reminders. Very pleased with standard of accommodation and location which was clearly presented on the website. Not sure when we will revisit the West Country, but will check your website if we do.
