Drum House is a delightful three bedroom terrace house located in Dartmouth, South Devon in a little street set back from the main town. This property offers the perfect base for family or friends with lots of adventure just around the corner, a level walk and less than 300 yards away are the eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and cafes Dartmouth has to offer. Park you car up and you won't have to touch it for the rest of your stay. There's an abundance of trips you can book yourselves on whilst your visiting, take boat trips to Dittisham and have lunch in the local village pub, Agatha Christie's House and walk the beautiful gardens, catch the passenger ferry to Kingswear and take the Steam Train to Paignton. Drum House spans four floors with the main social areas on the ground and first floor and the bedrooms and bathrooms located on the second and third floors. It is a modern and beautifully styled property, well equipped for a holiday in Dartmouth!  

Accommodation: Ground Floor - Kitchen/Diner with Range style cooker with five gas ring hobs and double electric oven, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, Bluetooth/DAB radio. First Floor - Lounge with Wall mounted 32" Flat Screen Smart TV with Freeview and streaming services, Gas Fire, Large Corner Sofa, Freestanding Chair, Foot Cushion. Second Floor - Shower Room with Thermostatic Shower Room (quirky in the cupboard). Family Bathroom Bath with Shower off mixer taps, w.c., hand basin. Second Bedroom with Double (4'6") Bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, a built in wardrobe, shelf with wall mounted mirror and wooden stool. Third Bedroom with Twin Room (3') singles, wooden clothes rail, bedside cabinet with lamp and wall mounted mirror. Third Floor (Attic Room) - Master Bedroom with Double (4'6") Bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, built in wardrobe, velux windows with black out blinds, full length mirror and freestanding chair and wall mounted Smart TV/DVD Combi. Ensuite Walk in Electric Shower, w.c., hand basin. 

Facilities: Parking Annual ticket provided for town car park (this works on a first come first serve basis). Please note: during Regatta week/s the Town Car Park is closed but the parking permit is valid in the Park & Ride at the top of Dartmouth opposite Sainsburys.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity included in rent. Gas fire in Lounge. Shop:0.1 ml  Pub:Roughly 200 yards (The Dolphin Inn) Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided (Please bring your own beach towels). Notes - No Smoking. Please be aware this property is set over 4 floors therefore, we feel this property is not suitable for infants or toddlers. Baby friendly equipment is not supplied for the above reason.


We really enjoyed our stay at Drum House, the property is in a great location, presented in excellent order, very comfortable, bigger than it looks in the pictures, with plenty of room around the dining table. Unloading and Loading was easy, as the street the house is on is not used by traffic, parking was close by (and FOC using the permit provided). There are two excellent coffee shops at the end of the road, bars nearby, and the market square. We have stayed in 4 properties previously in Dartmouth, and would recommend this property highly to anyone...assuming outside space isn't needed. Very Happy customer, thank you, Matt & Alex.
