Designed by the architect Wycliffe Noble OBE. Nº 5 Rose Walk is a unique, 1970’s styled house sitting amidst the tree canopies… 101 steps from ground level (to be exact) in Warfleet, Dartmouth. This really is something special, from the beautiful glass balcony with views towards the River Dart and the countryside to the stylish timbered walls and ceilings and central oval word burning stove. This Scandi-style property certainly ticks all the boxes. Rose Walk  is unique.


The glass fronted living and dining space looks out towards the river valley and there's a terrace and garden  leading off from the kitchen. The garden is very private and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the town but it's advisable not to leave children unattended due to the elevation of the property. (See notes below.)


The bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor offering an insight into the architect’s view of 1970’s living. A 10-15 minute walk and you're in the centre of historic Dartmouth for all the amenities – shops, cafes, restaurants and delis, there are some great little galleries and stylish boutique shops too. Something  for everyone.


Accommodation : Ground Floor: Bedroom 1 Double (5'), built in wardrobe space. Bedroom 2 Bunkbeds (2'6), shelves provided and open plan to the family bathroom. Bathroom Ground level bath, wall mounted shower, wall mounted mirror, hand basin, separate w.c. through the door to the side of the bathroom. Utility room Family friendly equipment located in this room. First Floor: Lounge/Dining Area Wall mounted TV, two seater sofa, two free standing lounge chairs, DVD player, Bluetooth Speaker for music, large woodburner. Wooden table and chairs, seating for 4 people. Kitchen Fridge/Freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washer/dryer, filter coffee machine. Garden: There is an outside w.c., terrace area, garden furniture provided. This garden is in an elevated position therefore, please do not leave children unattended outside.


Facilities and services: WiFi connection available. Pets welcome. Max. 2 pets; £25 per pet per week. Pets must be kept downstairs at all times. Bed linen and towels provided. (Beach towels not supplied.) Arr/Dep. For weekly bookings is Saturday. Baby Equipment Baby equipment provided, travel cot, high chair, stair gate. Short breaks accepted in low and mid season, minimum of 3 nights. Open fire/woodburner.  0.7 miles from the coast. 1.5 miles  from the nearest pub. Garden/ courtyard. Sea views.  Parking Parking is available for 1 car in the garage located next to the road. Other parking on Warfleet Road is available roughly 250 yards down the road, use at your own risk. Garage is 5 foot wide, 11 foot long, 6 foot high. 4 star rating. 

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Notes - Please be aware that children must be supervised in the property by the stairs, garden and on the balcony at all times due to the elevated position of the property. Rose Walk is up 101 steps from the roadside. No Smoking. WiFi provided. The mobile phone signal can be patchy.
