Our second year in a row at this lovely property says it all really!
Great views of the harbour and Kingswear on the far side. Some noise from the ferry which is close by but that adds to the atmosphere. Parking voucher provided for the main car park in town as there is no parking at the property. All the amenities of the town are close by if the walk back up the hill is manageable- probably not good for people with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Great views, nicely fitted out, fabulous views, very comfortable bed, skin-strippingly powerful shower, wonderful panoramic views, close enough to town that take-away fish and chips are still hot if you climb the steps quickly enough and have I mentioned the jaw-dropping views? Downsides? - the sea-gulls can start early (you're coastal, deal with it), and to get the aforementioned views you need to manage a steep climb but the views are worth it. We hope to be back.
We had a wonderful holiday at this property. As soon as we arrived I was thrilled.. the views are amazing and we loved our week there. We spent ages sitting watching the boats and relaxing. We were so lucky with the weather too. We will definitely go back
Had a wonderful stay at this property with its outstanding views over Dartmouth, the water and over to Kingswear. Excellent location high above the town - and many different routes to climb up (and down) to the harbour and town. Lovely walks and river trips nearby - with beautiful beaches and the south west coastal path walks within close range. There is even a bus permit should you want to not want to use a car. ps. no need to bring your own champagne flutes as some have now been provided.
