1 Northford Road is a stunning three bedroom self-catering house over three floors. This house has been beautifully redesigned and renovated to a high specification with blues, creams and whites making it very light and relaxing. This fabulous property is located within minutes walk of the ancient Market Square, restaurants and shops. Dartmouth lies within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideally located for exploring the neighbouring towns and beaches of South Devon.
Kitchen/dining area - open plan
The kitchen has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, continuing the nautical theme. It is well equipped with a electric hob, double oven, washer/dryer, microwave and a fridge/freezer. The kitchen is lit by a stunning bay window, seven downlighters and a trio of ceiling lamps. The wooden dining table can easily seat four people, but can comfortably seat six if the picnic chairs are also used. There is a flat screen TV and a decorative fireplace which adds to the charm of this property.
The gorgeous wooden floored living room is located on the first floor. There is a functional wood-burning stove which can be fully enjoyed from the two-seater sofa and armchair. It also has a 32" flat-screen TV with YouView. The room is lit by another large bay window, flooding the room with lots of natural light. There are also four wall-mounted lamps and a radiator.
The first bedroom is just off the living room. There is a comfortable double bed with two bedside tables complete with lamps. The room also has a spacious wardrobe and six downlighters. This room also enjoys plenty of natural light from the window and door to the patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee on the table and chairs.
This room has its own en-suite bathroom. The crisp white suite comprises of a bath with shower over, toilet, wash basin, towel rail and radiator, all lit by another window and four downlighters.
The beautiful nautically themed bedroom has a very comfortable 4ft white wood bed. The room also has a large white chest of drawers, mirror and small hanging space. The room is lit by a window and one ceiling light.
This bedroom is fully carpetted and hosts a wooden king-size bed with two bedside tables with lamps and a beautiful decorative period fireplace. There is also a chest of drawers and flat screen TV. The light, bright airy feel continues into this room with a large window and a ceiling lamp. It has a spacious built-in wardrobe.
The modern crisp white theme continues into the family shower room. There is a large corner shower, toilet, wash basin and a towel rail. The room has four downlighters.
There is an annual parking permit available for Mayors Avenue car park.
This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
The cottage was absolutely stunning. So much so that we had to check that it was actually dog friendly because it was immaculate. Even though the weather was atrocious the cottage was warm and cosy, and you couldn't wish for a better location.
1 Northford Road is a superb well equipped house in a perfect location near Market Square. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything co-ordinated. Beds comfortable and everything spotless. We had a problem with the tv in sitting room but this was rectified within a couple of hours by an extremely helpful member of the Blue River office team. Thank you. There are quite a few steps up to the property so perhaps maybe difficult for someone with mobility issues. Also when we stayed the path from the gate to front door was extremely slippery and had to be accessed with great care. To end on a positive this is a great house and we hope to return again next year. Thank you Blue River.

The cottage is lovely, very special, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Dartmouth is a fab place to stay, Royal Castle, The Cherub, 7 Stars and The Bayards Cove Inn all great places to eat. We will look to come back and stay here, fab place!
