Overview

This lovely property is  perfect for those who like to be within easy reach of the shops, restaurants and the riverside, but still have a peaceful and relaxing time, as it is situated between the town centre and Dart Marina in a quiet yard just few steps away from the main street.

The house was built in 1850 as sail loft and one can still feel it’s historical charm through the exposed features such as whitewashed stone walls. This is very bright property with plenty of natural light, well equipped, furnished and presented to a high standard throughout for your comfort.

This two storey duplex apartment is accessed at first floor level with the entrance leading into a good sized hallway, off which is the open-plan living area and kitchen. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Entrance: Enter in a hallway and immediately go up 14 steps to get to the apartment entrance.

Ground Floor

Lounge/Kitchen/Diner The sitting room is bright and has beautiful oak flooring. The area is stylishly furnished with a three seater sofa, two armchairs, a side table and includes a flat screen TV with Freeview and built-in CD/ DVD player. To the rear of the room is a beautifully crafted kitchen with modern, white gloss units, granite worktop, four-ring gas hob, integrated electric oven, fridge/freezer (70/30), slim line dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Bluetooth speakers, Radio. The dining area has a contemporary table with six chairs.

First Floor
Bedroom 1 The bedroom benefits from a vaulted ceiling with two Velux windows and a window, an exposed whitewashed stone wall and whitewashed beams and has a wooden-framed king sized bed, large chest of drawers, wardrobe, full length mirror and flat screen TV with Freeview and DVD.

Bedroom 2 – this bedroom has two single beds, full length mirror, built in wardrobe space, two Weelux blinds and a window, flat screen TV with Freeview.

Bathroom A fully tiled, contemporary bathroom with bath, shower (over), W.C., wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror.

Parking An annual parking permit, for one car, is provided for the Mayors Avenue public car park (subject to available spaces).

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heat: Gas central heating, included in rent.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels.

Reviews

This was a lovely property, stylish and comfortable with everything you could need. It was conveniently located for all local restaurants and attractions. Dartmouth was a picturesque area with attractive shops and enjoyable cuisine. Our young daughter loved trying out crabbing and went back and forth a few times. The Devon Chilli Farm was a great day out.
