Description

Retaining the original charm and character of the property. Grade 2 listed holiday apartment, as it’s name suggested, has views over the ancient market square in the heart of Dartmouth.
South Devon is well known for its family friendly beaches; Blackpool Sands is just a short drive away, a great spot for a day out - you can hire kayaks and boards here and get out on the water (in high season) and there's a great little café on the beach too! Keen golfers may want to pack the clubs and play a round at the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club nearby. Across the River Dart you'll find Paignton Zoo and Conservation park and Quay West Water Park.
Accommodation: open plan living/kitchen/diner area: Kitchen: white wooden window shutters. Well designed with freestanding range cooker, integrated dishwasher, 18thC larder, butler's sink, stainless steel microwave and fridge freezer. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, utensils, prestige pots, pans, Sabatier knives, simple white china and solid stainless steel cutlery. Bedrooms: Master bedroom (top floor): en-suite with shower, white iron king size bed, LCD TV with built-in DVD player and Freeview, bespoke built-in wardrobe, large chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables, 3 roof windows with blackout blinds and a cooling fan. Bedroom 2 : white iron 3ft wide twin beds, built in wardrobe, 2 shaker style chest of draws, small cabinet and a large window with ivory wooden blinds. For flexibility: top quality king sized sofa-bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers & bedside cabinet in the living/dining area, with linen available on request, though occupancy cannot exceed four. Bathroom: free standing slipper roll top bath, separate shower enclosure with a traditional style Victorian shower - large fixed head and flexible hand held shower, a traditional Georgian style towel radiator and ivory wooden blind. Ensuite bathroom with shower, freestanding washstand with counter top basin, towel radiator and a roof window.
Outside: The maisonette overlooks the market square. There is a market Tuesdays & Fridays plus a Farmer's Market on the 2nd Saturday in the month.
Parking: parking permit for use in the Mayors Avenue Car Park in the town centre just a short walk away.

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
