Just a 5 minute stroll from Dartmouth’s stylish shops, restaurants and galleries and 15 minutes from Dartmouth's historic castle. 1 Bight Boatyard is a beautiful period property with fabulous views over the River Dart. Contemporary and stylish with wooden floors throughout the property. A main feature is the expansive river frontage and furnished  terraces … The views are amazing, probably some off the best around. If you want to be close to the water you’d be hard pressed to find a better location!


Accommodation: Number 1 Blight Boatyard on 4 levels: there's a porch to the property for your coats and shoes. Ground  floor: kitchen: Spacious, white table, 8 chairs,  fridge and freezer, built in oven and microwave, 4 ring gas hob, slow cooker, washing machine, cafetiere, dishwasher and kettle, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, steamer, food mixer, toaster. Leading on from the kitchen through bi-folding doors is a conservatory with pool table and water feature. Living room: plush sofas in deep red and gold, coffee table, TV system -  52inch flat screen TV, Sky HD, DVD player and a Video player. Sound system with a wide selection of CD's and videos. video player, a selection of board games and books. First floor: Master bedroom: views over the water, double bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, 3 floor to ceiling length built in wardrobes, TV, dressing table and ottoman chair. Ensuite: large vintage green ensuite,  basin with wall mounted mirror, WC, bidet, waste bin, wash basket, a bath with a wall mounted shower, wall mounted towel rail. (Can be used as the family bathroom for the second bedroom on this floor.) Bedroom 2: Twin room with two single beds, three floor to ceiling built in wardrobes, wall mounted TV, two bedside cabinets with lamps. Second floor: Bedroom 3: double bed with two bedside cabinets and lamps, free standing wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers and a free standing TV. Bedroom 4: twin room with two single beds, built in wardrobe which also doubles as an airing cupboard, bedside cabinets and lamps. TV and a DVD player. Modern power shower located in one corner of the bedroom. Third floor: second bathroom: open plan with a modern suite, heated towel rail, hand basin, shower unit.


The owners are currently having  a new bathroom installed on the ground floor - please contact us for an update on building work.


Outside Space: 1 Bight Boatyard has a beautiful terrace with fabulous views of the river.

Note:  please do not leave children unattended on the waterfront, there is a short drop into the River. Please be aware that to access the property there is approximately 20-25 steps. A lift is available for use in conjunction with the steps.  Due to the nature of the access to the property we advise that this property is not suitable for small children and those with restricted mobility.


Facilities and services: WiFi connection available. No smoking.  Will accept three pets. Bed  linen and towels provided. (Beach towels not supplied.) Arr/Dep. For weekly bookings is Saturday. Short breaks available in low and mid season minimum 3 nights. 0.8  miles to the nearest pub. River views. Parking. Garden. 4 star rating.

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Please note: food deliveries are not permitted at this property. Rooftop in the car park has a weight limit of 1 ton.
