Description

Gullsway Lower is a newly refurbished waterfront property situated on the banks of the River Dart. The property is finished to a high standard throughout and boasts panoramic and far-reaching views across the Dart and mouth beyond. Dartmouth town centre is just a short stroll away where you will find a plethora of shops, cafes and eateries. With Dart Marina only a stone's throw away, you can sit back and relax with boatloads (pun intended) of our famous Dartmouth ice cream or fudge. The property itself consists of 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, both with shower cubicles and 1 bathtub, perfect for getting your bearings after a busy day exploring. There is a large open plan and well equipped kitchen/diner/lounge where you can batten down the hatches with a glass of wine. You can also migrate through the large patio doors onto the furnished outside terrace and watch a fleet of vessel drift by. Situated 89 steps down from the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth at Gullsway Lower you really do have the best of both worlds.

 

Accommodation: Living/dining/kitchen with 42" TV with basic Sky Package, DVD Player and Radio/CD player. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, washing machine. Master bedroom with 1 King. Bedroom 2 with Twin Zip and Link beds (2'6" and can be zipped together to create 5' king size bed). Bathroom 1 has a WC, shower cubicle, a bath and wash basin. Bathroom 2 has a WC, shower cubicle and a wash basin.

 

Facilities and Services: Linen and Towels. Gas CH. No Smoking. WiFi. Terrace Furniture. Parking Permit Provided. Short Breaks Available in low and mid season. 3pm Arrival time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday. The terrace backs directly onto the river, it is a low wall and extra care must be taken if you are bringing children. Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Fantastic location if it is important to be right on the estuary overlooking Kingswear. The first place I was happy to stay in during the day and just watch the activity on the river. As long as you are relatively fit, the 99 steps are no problem (and the view is worth it). The large new house next door will possibly create some noise once occupied and will overlook patio area (as does the apartment upstairs). Blueriver were really easy to deal with and really helpful. Thanks.
