If you are looking for a peace and tranquility then Higher Well Cottage has it in abundance! Surrounded by a wild meadow, herbaceous plants, fruit and veg as well numerous varieties of birds and insects, this quaint cottage is only a half hour walk from some of the best cliff top scenery in the whole of Devon. Follow the South West Coastal path through quaint pretty villages, follow the River Erme to Westcombe Beach and Ayrmer Cove to meet dog friendly areas of unspoilt beaches and secluded coves. Nearby Bigbury on Sea offers safe swim beaches and ideal conditions for windsurfing and sailing. Twenty minutes away by car will take you to the white sandy beaches and estuary town of Salcombe, a popular resort with beautiful backdrops of emerald waters. Higher Well Cottage is a dormer style property with garden aspects from all vantage points. This quirky property is adorned with artist paintings and has a real charming character, including the vintage mirror collection in the parisian feel ensuite. On the ground floor is a large kitchen diner, conservatory, utility room, shower room and large bedroom with king size bed and sofa. The first floor boasts and additional wc and single bedroom, along with a larger bedroom accommodating a king size bed with freestanding bath and hand basin. Truly impressive property in an amazing coastal location.

Accommodation: First Floor: Conservatory entrance, kitchen /dining room with refrigerator, electric oven, electric hob, stainless steel espresso and milk frother. Utility room with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Lounge with 36" TV and BT YouView package and multi fuel wood burner. Shower room with temperature control shower wc and hand basin. Bedroom with king size bed, sofa and 28'' TV 1st Floor: Master bedroom with King Size (5'0") bed, chest of drawers, 28'' TV and ensuite with freestanding bath and wash basin.  Bedroom 2 with single (2'6") Child's bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Separate wc and wash basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels provided. Oil central heating and electric included in the rent. WiFi provided. Courtyard with outdoor furniture provided. Car Park parking for 4-5 cars including under a carport.There is an unsecured dry shed available for wet suits or bicycles. There is a fire pit in the garden for cooking and various locations with outside seating. 4pm arrival time, 11am departure time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday. Pet friendly (two dogs allowed)This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
