Head up the wooden staircase to the three bedrooms for a good nights’ sleep: a pretty king-size room, a lovely double where you can watch TV in bed, and a cool bunk room for kids, as well as the family bathroom. Head outside to the patio with a drink and watch the bowling on the green in the sunshine.
Explore the village, home to a shop, a bakers, butchers, cafes, and pubs (just over 150 metres away) and Shaldon Approach golf course (1 mile). Head to the beach (just over 150 metres) to go swimming and paddling. For incredible views, pick up the South West Coast Path in the village and walk to Labrador Bay (2 miles). Catch a ferry across the estuary to Teignmouth to visit the pier and play adventure golf. Kids will also love Shaldon Wildlife Trust zoo above Ness Cove (1.5 miles) and Go Ape at Haldon Forest (6 miles).
