This fabulous coastal cottage oozes style, awash with original features combined with top quality contemporary fittings... Sea Dream Cottage is a beautiful, picture perfect property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms offering excellent holiday accommodation for 6 people. Imagine a fusion of traditional dark wood floors, exposed beams and leather chesterfields with beautiful bedrooms and high end bath and shower room fittings.
Accommodation is over two floors. The spacious living area is stunning… from the elegant French style dining table and chairs, pretty window seat piled cushions to the leather chesterfield sofas and wood burning stove. The style continues into the kitchen, fully fitted with grey cottage style units and Belfast sink. Wide French doors lead out onto a delightful whitewashed courtyard with table and chairs and potted palms and ferns.
Upstairs the three bedrooms are of the same high standard with dark wood floors and fabulous furnishings. The two bathrooms are stunning, with marble and stone tiles, stand alone sinks and showers with glass screens.
Sea Dream Cottage is in the heart of Shaldon village, sitting between thegreen & The Clipper Café and the beach. Shaldon is a quaint little fishing town, opposite Teignmouth at the mouth of the River Teign, hop on one of the regular ferries and explore further afield. It’s a great place for walking too with the South West Coastal Path offering some fabulous coastal strolls right on the doorstep. Follow one of the nature trails, do a spot of bird watching on the river or try your hand at one of the water sports on offer. Golfing enthusiasts will enjoy the 18-hole golf course, the charming local conservation zoo is a must, as are the fabulous beaches and the Homeyards Botanical Gardens. Visit in August and join in the fun of the annual Shaldon Regatta, so be prepared to get swept up in the merriment!
Guests are within a 20 minutes' drive of the lively attractions of Torquay and the surrounding area has many popular National Trust properties, beaches and coastal tourist attractions. Nearby Dartmoor also offers a dynamic day out for walking, mountain biking, wild swimming and extreme sports. It’s possible to arrive at Shaldon by public transport via Teignmouth with trains operating to Exeter, Plymouth and London and the ferry service from Teignmouth to Shaldon Beach.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, pale grey painted floorboards, bedside tables and chest of drawers..

Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
