The property has the benefit of private off street parking space to front and to the back, a private sea facing terrace for a little alfresco dining. Beach access couldn’t be easier, a ladder extends from the terrace onto the beach so you can feel the sand between your toes in no time!
Shaldon is a delightful seaside village with some excellent independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants so you’re not short of anywhere to go for a coffee or dinner.
Shaldon lies across the river from Teignmouth, at the mouth of the river Teign, hop on one of the ferries and explore further afield. Shaldon is great for walking too with the South West Coastal Path right on the doorstep. Follow one of the nature trails and do a spot of birdwatching on the river, alternative try your hand at one of the many water sports on offer. Golfing enthusiasts will love the 18 hole and the charming conservation zoo just outside the town is a must for all the family. Of course, everyone comes to Devon for the coastline and the beaches never disappoint… stay at Shaldon Beach Hut and you couldn't get any closer!
The village is also extremely accessible by car from the perfectly located mainline Train Station at Newton Abbot as well as from the vibrant nearby seaside resort of Torquay, Exeter Airport and the M5, which are all within a 20-30 minute drive.

We loved our stay
Great fun place to stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable to stay in.
This property was booked as a Christmas gift for my partner and myself by my mum. We couldn't have been happier with it. The beach hut was in the best location, the view was perfect and the hut had everything we could have needed. It was close by to so many yummy places to eat and drink, lots of lovely walks and easy access for exploring further afield. Beach Hut no 5 was perfect for us. We had 3 days of calm away from a hectic life and it couldn't have been better. The location is ideal, we were very close to lots of lovely eateries and the Hut is only a few steps away from the ferry boat over to Teignmouth.
Perfect position and wonderfully quirky!
Lovely place in a great setting.
Loved being right on the beach. Everything was in excellent condition. Would have liked a more cosy sofa to sit on.
Didn't want to leave, loved our time in Beach Hut No. 5!
Brilliant location and good value for money
This is our 'go to' holiday for me and my son - we absolutely love it in these beach huts. Always a wonderful stay whatever the weather X
The beach hut is lovely and to say it’s quite compact, they have thought of everything. An excellent quirky holiday stay. This is a small but perfectly formed holiday accommodation. Everything has been thought of, quality fittings and just the most perfect location. Lovely place to stay for a few days in a perfect location.
Lovely place to stay; quirky, clean, well situated, the perfect place for a week away!
Second time we have stayed in beach hut 5 and it won't be the last. fantastic property in a fantastic location. well worth the trip down from the north east of scotland.
Cannot fault anything about dealing with your company or the property.
Beautiful Beach Hut in a fantastic location. Parked the car and didn’t get back in it until we left to come home as everything we needed was nearby. We booked this for a few chilled out days and that’s exactly what we had. Clean and very well kit out, everything we needed was provided in the hut. We will definitely be returning
Brilliant views, excellent accommodation which enabled us to have a very relaxing break.
Couldn’t fault it!
Great property in a fantastic location - couldn’t ask for anything more
Had a lovely weekend break. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Spotlessly clean and the milk and biscuits were a nice touch.
Just love it.
We thoroughly enjoyed the property and our stay.
Just perfect in every way......loved the property, the location, and the village. The property is always of a very high standard, there are also little touches, like milk, tea, coffee and sugar supplied. The view is fantastic to wake up to every morning and to go to bed every evening. The village and all the pubs ( food always lovely) and shops are all very friendly and happy to help.
We had a wonderful time. The highlight was enjoying breakfast on the stunning terrace which had been delivered by the cafe next door!
