Follow one of the nature trails and do a spot of birdwatching on the river, alternative try your hand at one of the many water sports on offer. Golfing enthusiasts will love the 18 hole and the charming conservation zoo just outside the town is a must for all the family. Of course, everyone comes to Devon for the coastline and the beaches never disappoint… stay at Shaldon Beach Hut and you couldn't get any closer!

The village is also extremely accessible by car from the perfectly located mainline Train Station at Newton Abbot as well as from the vibrant nearby seaside resort of Torquay, Exeter Airport and the M5, which are all within a 20-30 minute drive.

Mrs Janice S,

Shaldon Beach Hut 5 was amazing, everything we needed for a great stay. The Beach hut is compact, cute and comfortable and Shaldon and Teignmouth are lovely places to potter around and relax. We hope to return for another stay in the future :-)

Mrs Lucy M,

We loved our stay

Mrs Laura B,

Great fun place to stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable to stay in.

Mr Paul A,

This property was booked as a Christmas gift for my partner and myself by my mum. We couldn't have been happier with it. The beach hut was in the best location, the view was perfect and the hut had everything we could have needed. It was close by to so many yummy places to eat and drink, lots of lovely walks and easy access for exploring further afield. Beach Hut no 5 was perfect for us. We had 3 days of calm away from a hectic life and it couldn't have been better. The location is ideal, we were very close to lots of lovely eateries and the Hut is only a few steps away from the ferry boat over to Teignmouth.

Perfect position and wonderfully quirky!

Mr Kirk B,

We had a wonderful time. The highlight was enjoying breakfast on the stunning terrace which had been delivered by the cafe next door!
