This detached four-bedroom cottage is the perfect home away from home, smartly presented and lovingly furnished. The captivating coastal village of Shaldon is less than half a mile away, with its maze of narrow twisting streets, thatched cottages and listed Georgian homes. On chilly days, relax beside the gas fire and when the sun is shining, make the most of the south-facing patio where you can light the BBQ and dine alfresco.

Step inside this beautiful holiday cottage and be welcomed into a bright and spacious entrance hall. In the lounge, there are two matching sofas and a Smart TV, so you can curl up and watch a film, in the warmth of the coal-effect gas fire. The open-plan kitchen/dining room offers a large table and chairs, plus plenty of equipment to cater for your family meals. A utility room provides an additional fridge/freezer and a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is also a twin zip-and-link (please specify if you require a double or 2 singles)  bedroom and a convenient shower room on the ground floor. Head upstairs and find another twin zip-and-link bedroom (please specify if you require a double or 2 singles) with an en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom and another twin bedroom, as well as a family bathroom. Outside, enjoy sunny days and sizzling BBQs on the south-facing covered patio.

Take a ride on Britain’s oldest passenger ferry, dating back to Saxon times, across the Teign Estuary, less than half a mile away. You can enjoy a spot of retail therapy in Teignmouth or take a stroll around the Victorian pier. Alternatively, take a short walk to Ness Cove Beach (1 mile), a secluded beach nestled within the cliffs and accessible through an original smugglers’ tunnel. Here, you can discover rock pools and enjoy a refreshing swim.

A fabulous home from home in an excellent location close to all amenities but very quiet and secluded. The house was so spacious, well equipped and ideal for the 3 generations of our family. Even better than the photographs and parking for our cars was certainly a bonus. Communication with the owners, was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunnyside house. It was very comfortable and clean. We took our dog good sized garden which was mostly secure. Just a small gap at the side of the house to be carful of. It was in a great location, lots of lovely places local to eat and drink. Would definitely return.

A beautiful house with very easy access to local facilities in the area. Ideal for dog lovers with easy access to the local beach, although this is dependent on the tides. Just across the estuary Teignmouth provides many facilities for children.

The garden is a real sun trap and is fine for dogs well enclosed. Couldnt fault this house at all, and would certainly recommend to anyone.
