Galmpton Farmhouse is perfect for family or friends looking for a tranquil country retreat, close to the coast and all the attractions that South Devon has to offer.
The ancient village of Galmpton is situated within enviable reach of Agatha Christie's famous Greenway house (1.4 miles), a National Trust property with incredible views over the River Dart. Hop on the Dartmouth Steam Railway which passes through Kingswear where you can pick up the ferry for the short crossing to Dartmouth. This area is a walkers’ paradise with some excellent trails and the popular South West Coastal Path.
Get out and about and explore… the model village at Babbacombe is delightful to walk around and nearby Paignton Zoo is well regarded for its wildlife conservation efforts with an impressive collection of wildlife including a Komodo Dragon! Further afield, head inland and explore the Dartmoor National Park with its tors and myriad of walking trails. So whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a family holiday with children to entertain, there’s something for everyone!
