If you’re looking for a romantic retreat… look no further, Dart View Cabin is perfect. A hidden hideaway with views over the River Dart. This unique one bedroom bolthole has a fitted kitchenette with Lavazza coffee machine and a lounge dining area with a sofa and dining table and chairs. The bedroom is fab with wide patio doors opening up onto the deck with an outdoor bathtub!!
Totnes itself is a historic market town with an alternative vibe… packed with independent shops and awash with vegan cafes, it’s a great place to stroll around and stop off for a coffee or a traditional Devon cream tea. Take a river trip from the quay down to Dartmouth, or hop in the car and head inland to explore Dartmoor National Park with its tors and myriad of walking trails.
This area of South Devon has some of the best beaches around with surfing available at Bantham and Bigbury on Sea (about a half an hour drive away). Try paddle boarding at South Sands near Salcombe, take a stroll into the town - very chic and pretty with its fair share of expensive yachts and a firm favourite with sailors. Don’t forget to try South Devon crab… it’s amazing!

Cute and cosy cabin. Beautiful views over the river Dart and the level of comfort made our week extremely enjoyable. Waking up, opening the curtains and taking in the view from the large patio doors lifted our spirits. Just what we needed. We will return, without a doubt. Thank you to Donna and Nick for the welcome pack and dog biscuits.
Good overall, though very small.Stunning views from french doors in the lovely bedroom. The hosts were very kind and responsive to my queries. The cabin is comfortable, though it is quite small. The bath is actually outside so it can’t be used in the winter!
