Wild Rose Cottage is a very pretty traditional detached stone cottage, tucked away in Ashprington, a delightful conservation village with 14th Century church and lovely country pub.
The cottage offers very comfortable holiday accommodation and has a delightful terraced garden, planted with an array of fragrant flowers and shrubs, winding paths and patio with seating. Wild Rose Cottage has been sympathetically restored and retains many original features which sit alongside the more modern touches including new parquet floor in the living/dining room and woodburning stove for the cooler evenings.
The property is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. The entrance hall leads to the comfortable living room and there's a separate well fitted kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a modern bathroom.
The owners have created a lovely private patio area with table and chairs, which is perfect for alfresco dining, throw a few coals on the barbecue and make the most of the long summer evenings.
Ashprington is close to the River Dart so it's easy to get to Dartmouth and wander around the winding streets and stop for a lunch at a café or pub. Head upstream and you’ll reach Totnes, a thriving market town with an ancient castle and some alternative shops and restaurants.
This is such a lovely spot whether you're a couple, on your own or a young family looking to escape for a few days, switch of the mobile and forget the outside world – this dog friendly property is the one for you. A lovely romantic country cottage in a tranquil location.

Outside: Pretty enclose garden to the front and side of the property, driveway, large patio area with furniture provided, coal barbecue.
Parking: The property has a large driveway where you can park the car. Please note: Be careful of pulling out of the driveway, it has a ridge could cause damage to the underneath of your car if you pull off straight.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
