Woodpecker Barn is a semi-detached barn conversion in the picturesque 200 year old farmstead of Higher Hendham Barns, just over one mile from the pretty village of Woodleigh. The Barn boasts private parking for two cars.  The property is on reverse level and on the first floor, through glass double doors leads into the open-plan Kitchen/Lounge/Diner, with it's original qualities, exposed stone work and high vaulted ceilings still a prominent feature throughout this excellent space. From the living area, another set of glass double doors open out to the enclosed, paved courtyard with outdoor dining furniture and charcoal barbeque, fantastic spot for those warm summer evenings and al fresco dining. 

Stairs lead down to the ground floor, where you'll find the family bathroom with bath/shower, double bedroom and second bedroom featuring a king size bed plus full size bed (sleeping 3). There is also another door which opens out to the shared courtyard with neighbouring barn conversions. 

Woodpecker Barn is nestled in an beautiful rural location, with rolling countryside and farmland. Yet you're only 5 miles from the market town of Kingsbridge, a hive of independent shops and eateries. A little closer to Woodpecker Barn is Avon Mill Garden Centre, featuring an excellent Cafe, Deli, Art Gallery and an array of plants to purchase. For those who love to buy local produce, Aune Valley Farm Shop and their award winning cafe is just 3 miles away. The South Hams feature some of the most stunning beaches, along it's coastline. Bantham, South Milton and Hope Cove are all easily accessible from the property. The popular town of Salcombe can be reached by road within 25 minutes, where you will find some fabulous restaurants and plenty of luxury nautical themed clothing stores, alongside many independent traders all with the most beautiful coastal scenery around every corner.
